Overview of role:

The E commerce Team is seeking a hands-on New BDA to help hit its sales goals. In this role, you will be responsible for growing a network of direct D2C brands, growing our base of clients and supporting them to ensure they have the best possible experience and come back as returning clients, while we continue to grow and remain the leader in our fields.

As a BDA, you will identify sales opportunities in the Ecommerce space across the UK. You will be supported to create your own client list.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify new partnership opportunities for Zenith Media through proactive outreach as well as management of inbound partnership inquiries via email, web-conferencing, and phone and meeting monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Perform daily contact mining and outreach activities including cold calling, email out-reach, LinkedIn, contact databases.
  • Develop client-specific presentations highlighting Zenith Media’s programs and present virtually or in person (when possible) to potential new partners .
  • A successful candidate in this role will be able to build and maintain a pipeline of 150-200 active conversations.
  • Maintain records on accounts and update CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal departments to find creative solutions for clients’ needs and improve internal processes.
  • Identify new, profit generating opportunities for Zenith Media.

Factors that make you a great fit:

  • Experienced negotiator and able to structure win-win deals for brands and for our organisation.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative in a marketing agency environment for e-commerce.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Fluent English for effective business communication.
  • Sales knowledge and/or experience.
  • Determination and drive to achieve monthly targets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to write compelling sales emails.
  • Ability to pitch, handle objections, and qualify prospective customers.

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Hands-on experience with various sales techniques.
  • Track record of successfully engaging with prospects.
  • Familiarity with Marketing Automation and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot and Outreach).
